So, I am thereby requesting your help to vote for my youngest aunt, Ellen Yeo, to help get into a cooking competition. Details are as follows:

The online portion of this contest will end on 19 June 2013. Finalists will be notified on 20 June 2013 for their participation in the event on 29 June 2013.
The 20 Finalists will be required to prepare two dishes with a 'Raya celebration' theme on the day of the AFC Foodie Face-Off 2013 Kuala Lumpur that will be held at The Cooking House on 29 June 2013.
- One main dish
- One dish or dessert that requires the use of a secret ingredient (The ingredient will be revealed on the 20th June 2013)
All ingredients will be provided by AFC. We will require the finalists to send in their ingredients list by 25 June 2013. Every participant will be limited to a maximum budget of RM150 for the two dishes.

1st prize: RM 2,000 cash + Nikon Camera D320018 with 55mm kit (RM 2,498) + Tefal Sensorille Range(RM 866)

There will also be a special appearance from two well-loved AFC Celebrities from Malaysia, Sherson Lian of 5 Rencah 5 Rasa and Anis Nabliah of Icip Icip. Both will be present on the day of the cooking competition as honorary guest judges.

The reason I'm doing this is simple; she is my aunt! And I promise you, her food not only looks good, it tastes good as well. Not just saying that cos she's my relative. I've tried her cooking several times and I've never been disappointed. She has talent and I think it will be really cool to see her on TV while competing on a national level to gain more exposure!
Ok lah, I know voting for her won't get you free food lah (sorry bout that). But you CAN try this dish and many others too! Just contact me if you wanna have a "tasting session". :D She does private lunch, tea (with manicure session included if you want to book in advance!) and dinner in her humble abode which can host up to 6 person (seriously, her apartment is tiny). There is no fixed price as to how much you should pay; it all depends on how much you think her food is worth. All proceeds will be donated to charity. You can fill in a survey form after meals too; it makes her happy to receive both good and bad feedback.
