Beauty: Miss Hana Stardust Waterproof Gel Eyeliner

Eyeliners are like magic wands - they give you the power to transform your look in an instant.
It seems like only a while back, I did a review on Miss Hana Waterproof Gel Eyeliner and guess what? I'm back again with Part 2 of the review! You can find Part 1 of my Miss Hana Waterproof Gel Eyeliner HERE for more comprehensive understanding!

I now have the complete set of Miss Hana Waterproof Gel Eyeliners thanks to Natta Cosme, and I couldn't be more excited!

One day, I got home and received this little black box at my door. It was a pleasant surprise to find that Natta Cosme has changed their packaging to this classier ensemble, while ensuring the items inside are still carefully protected.

The Miss Hana Stardust Gel Eyeliner series aims to help a girl have more sparkling eyes, to achieve more confidence.

The simple gel eyeliners in the form of a plastic pencil. Similar to the previous normal gel eyeliners that I reviewed except...

..this tiny difference that I noticed. The Stardust eyeliners has tiny specks of glitter on the bottom of the pencil unlike the original ones!

This time, we got to review two beautiful contrasting shades that are oh-so-pretty for the eyes. This is 02 Galaxy Black.

And this is 04 Golden Brown.
The tip for both colours are not super fine so a sharpener is required to sharpen it when it gets blunt.

The swatch reveals that 02 Galaxy Black is much darker than 01 Night Black while 04 Golden Brown is lighter than 03 Choco Brown. They all have the same smooth, gelatinous consistency with opague colour
payoff! Miss Hana Waterproof Gel Eyeliners are not only waterproof but it claims to be smudge-proof, sweat, tears and oil-resistant too!

One thing I love about Miss Hana Gel Eyeliners are that it glides on easily. Notice that the Stardust series is unique because it has subtle glittery bits in it! It reminds me of a night sky or a night out at a party. It's not too wild for school, yet the sparkles are there to catch light and bring attention to your eyes!

Because the liners are so easy to draw on with its moderate hardness and ductility, I will show you how to create two different looks for a night out at a party or just chilling with friends!

Start off by drawing your favourite liner style. I love drawing a thin stroke that wings out at the end. The pen design of the eyeliner makes it easy to control and draw your eyelines. Make sure you fill in the gaps between your eyelashes to achieve a three-dimensional attractive eye look!

For the first look, draw a line halfway across your bottom waterline. Then, smudge it out a little. Be quick because this eyeliner dries fast! This gives you more defined, deep-set eyes. I don't usually draw on my bottom waterline as I find that most eyeliners smudge and leaves me looking like a panda, but I'm willing to put this to the test.

02 Galaxy Black is a really dark, velvety black with tiny little glitters like stars. The glitters are not as obvious on the eyes as on the swatch on the hand.

Put on your fave red lipstick and see how your look transforms into a fierce, edgy rocker chick!

Fierce

I don't fancy heavy makeups, so lipsticks are an essential for me to complete my makeup. With the right accessories, you too can try on this edgy look for a night at the club or bar.

For the next look, let's go for something more demure and sweet.

As usual, draw on your fave liner style. The shiny glitter doesn't make your makeup look over the top, but it enhances your eyes instead. Add some white eyeliner or a highlighting colour on the inner corners of your eyes for that extra bit of shine.

04 Golden Brown is kind of translucent and needs a few layers to be drawn before the colour turns opague but I like it because it brings out the glitter specks more!

Choose a pink lipstick if you're going for something simple. You can never go wrong with pink!

Sweet

Tadaa! It's a different look from the previous one, and just with a few tweaks! Even though it looks simple, your eyes are still the main attraction that will make you stand out! For me, this look is perfect for a night out with your girl friends or just chilling over a cup of coffee. You can opt not to use the white highlighter and draw a thinner line without winging out at the edges, to make it suitable for everyday makeup.

Miss Hana Stardust Waterproof Gel Eyeliners are simple to use and perfect for any occassion. It's really lightweight so it's good to have one of these eyeliners handy in your makeup bag for a quick change of makeup. However, I wouldn't recommend it for people with oily lids and also for people who frequently rub their eyes (like me) because unfortunately, the smudge-proof effect is not so good on oily lids. The colour isn't long-lasting and does fade off with long wear so it leaves a bit of shadow on your bottom lids. On the eyes, the glittery effect isn't TOO obvious as well, but just enough to catch light at certain angles. The eyeliner is also easy to remove, plus the glitter washes right off and doesn't linger on your eyelids too. For the smoothness and flexibility, I would still rate this liner a 7/10! :)
