This is a week of thanks. Freshies' Night 2014 was a success and I couldn't be more thankful to the entire awesome VUBC team for giving me the opportunity to plan this, to work with them, to learn and grow with them. I feel so touched to see their dedication and hard work, especially my dearest assistant! My friends have also been so supportive too, printing notes for me knowing I didn't have time to get them printed, dropping me good luck texts, tweeting words of encouragement. Mummy and bf have been constantly encouraging me and reminding me to take care too.
To end the tiring week, here's also another big thanks to Dress & Style, an online boutique owned by my friend, Pam & her bf! Thank you for sponsoring me the pretty top I used in this look :)

It was love at first sight for the top when I saw it posted on their Instashop. The red one caught my eye first but you know, white is a really versatile colour too. Just like its name, Charming Elisa gives off an elegant feel, but I beg to differ. The pleated design on the left is what makes it so unique. I got a sudden inspiration to make it a fun, sporty look by pairing it with my pleated skirt. The material is really good and comfy and I'm surprised that it fit me? Haha. Don't worry, it's padded too and the zip is hidden exquisitely in the lining so there's no bulkiness involved. It also has thin straps which I really need otherwise, a bustier/ crop top like this wouldn't fit me so well LOL. I also love my new chunky flatform sandals, but sadly, I think it looks quite big on me? No accessories this time cos I don't wanna overdo it, just a clean but effortlessly fun monochromatic look!
Dress & Style carries many other pretty clothing too for the girly girl who wants to outshine the rest. Their first collection consists of florals and lace, pretty dresses to be worn for any occassion. The best part? All their items are READY STOCK. Chat them up for fast replies and COD (cash-on-delivery) is available too! The second collection will be up soon, so follow them and stay tuned for more! But if you can't wait, they will be having a booth (no. 30) at Markets @ Jaya One, The School tomorrow and Sunday (9th-10th August) for the 57th Merdeka Bazaar! The first customer who purchase RM50 and above will also receive a mystery gift. Make sure you drop by their booth ok!
