Carinn x OOTD: Summer in Blue ft. Woopz Bikinis & Beachwear

*shy* I hesitated for a long time before deciding to post these up. Anyway, it's good to step out of my comfort zone once in awhile. Also, it's been awhile since my last Carinn x OOTD post. I'll definitely try and be more hardworking with my fashion posts from now on! Here's a mini sneak peek of some photos from my Phuket trip. Since it's summer all-year round in Malaysia, you girls will definitely want to check Woopz Bikinis out!

Thank you, Woopz Bikinis & Beachwear for sending over my new bikini just in time for my previous Phuket vacation. Actually I was expecting more of sun, sand & sea but chilling by the pool is just as fabulous, I guess. I needed a good swimwear and Woopz Bikinis came to the rescue. They have an extensive range of swimwear for any shape and size! What they are striving for is to bridge the gap between expensive branded swimwear with cheaper, low-quality ones to provide great quality bikinis at affordable prices. Something worthy to note, they were also the proud sponsors for Miss Global International Malaysia back in 2013! Read more about their shipping policies, shipping fees and more here.

Since I've never owned a brightly-coloured bikini before, I decided to settle for this blue fringed one. The name 'Shakira' sounds so fun, doesn't it? Also a tip for *ahem* flat-chested petite girls like me, a fringed bandeau bikini top will take attention away from your chest area while making it appear fuller at the same time. Win-win, I'd say. Furthermore, the bikinis are padded and has adjustable straps, including 'tie-at-the-back' straps to suit most body type. Even the bottom can be tied so no worries about it being too loose or too tight. If you're not willing to go into the water, just make sure you bring a hat & shades with you, and definitely apply your sunblock!

What I've learnt from this is that petite girls are capable of rocking a bikini too, you'd just have to choose the right cutting. You can also opt to cover up more with a throwover or kimono. Seriously, I never dared to wear a bikini out in public before because I was insecure about my skin & bones. But I don't have a choice, I was just born this way so I decided, I'm just gonna do what makes me happy! Just remember to be confident and you can rock any outfit you set your mind on. :D

Perhaps you'd like to hype this unconventional OOTD post on Lookbook?
