Hey! It's almost the end of the year, time
really flies! I'm on my 20th pair of aligners now, halfway through my
treatment! Many of you say you can't really see much difference in my teeth
thus far but be patient, my child. It's slowly but surely moving, slowly but
surely becoming straighter.
Wearing 20th tray for Upper
10th tray for Lower
Ok I was quite disappointed at first when I saw
the photos and realised that there really wasn't much difference these two
months. It could be due to my laziness in wearing aligners since I keep eating
and then I'm lazy to put it back on :x
BUT! I do FEEL the difference. Before this, I kept needing a toothpick
after every meal because food would constantly get stuck in between my molars
as the gap was quite big. My friends teased me, saying I was like an old uncle
constantly asking for toothpick haha. I asked Dr Matthew to patch up the hole
for me but he said it was just my teeth moving backwards, the gap will be
barely noticeable once my teeth was straight. And he was right! The gap is much
smaller now as my upper jaw is slowly pulled backwards, and I know because I used to be able to fit the toothpick in
between the gap to pick out food, now the toothpick can barely go between it so
I need to floss more regularly. Still can't really see much difference in the
top jaw though, but my bottom row of teeth are becoming straighter at a much faster rate (which is weird, since I only change the bottom tray once every fortnight).
Can't wait to see faster progress soon cos I just
put on elastics to pull my front row of teeth back, will update in the next
post!
