Shopping: Enjoy The Best Deals with Worthy Book Ladies Edition 2015/2016

Ladies, do you love shopping? Well, you're in luck because there's a way where you can shop AND save at the same time. Ever heard of Worthy Book? Well, it's basically a coupon booklet with a variety of freebies, deals & discounts to be used in Malaysia's most popular spots, so you can shop & save money at the ame time. And the book is not even that expensive!"Where got so good deal wan?" Really it is , just read on!

I received a copy of the Worthy Book Ladies Edition 2015/2016 to experience it for myself. The validity date is for a year, from May 2015 - April 2016. Design wise, it's not too tacky/ messy unlike the conventional coupons booklet which is cluttered with shoutouts and what not. There are a total of 160 vouchers in the book. It features popular shopping, beauty & fashion brands in Malaysia that will be sure to get your heart racing! For instance, Body Shop, Zalora, f block, Ecoparadise and more! The brands covers over 80 shopping malls across Malaysia. FYI, there is also a food edition of this booklet and I'm sure foodies all around would appreciate that more as it features F&B outlets around Malaysia. The best part? The booklet is only RM25.00 but if you use the coupons, you'll definitely save more than its worth already!

Admittedly, the book is more worth it if you are based in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor as most of the brands featured and the vouchers usable in-stores are based there. However, there are also a variety of online shops that you can use the vouchers on, all you have to do is key in the code given! Since I am living in JB now, I found a list of shops in my hometown, which they have listed in the Table of Contents for your convenience to search, and picked out the a voucher to use in a physical store instead of Online. They have it listed by State or if you're in the Klang Valley, listed by Mall or variety (beauty, fashion, etc).

I picked The Body Shop, since it is found in almost every state & shopping mall. There is a little introduction at the side about The Body Shop. This particular brand is a little unique as you can choose to use the vouchers either in their physical stores or via their website. Since I always drop by Aeon Tebrau City, I chose to use the voucher in stores. A simple breakdown of how to use the voucher in physical stores:

- In the table of contents, pick the store and flip to that page (The Body Shop was on page 41).
- Choose from the various offers available.
- Tear the voucher(s) you wish to use from the book or simply bring the book to the store with you.
- Choose your items at the store and upon paying, redeem the discount by handing over the voucher to the cashier.
- Tip: Check T&C in advance to avoid any disappointment.

*For online shopping, all you have to do is pick a deal and use the voucher code given during Checkout.

Here's my mini Body Shop haul! I read somewhere that using a wooden comb is good for your scalp so I bought one of the popular items in their store, the Detangling Comb. It's actually my 2nd one as I seem to have lost the first one. The comb is RM25.00. I also got the Tea Tree Blemish Oil (RM39.00) to help reduce appearance of blemishes. I used this when I was in high school, really excited to see it if works just as well now! The total was supposed to be RM64 but because I used the 20% off in-stores voucher, I only had to pay RM51.20! The only problem was the salesperson probably did not have much experience with vouchers like these so she took awhile to find out how to apply the discount.

All in all, I find the book to be quite convenient and useful for shopaholics and ladies who love to pamper themselves. You should grab a copy too, girls!

What I love:
- Loads of vouchers available for a variety of businesses
- Affordable book that helps you with big savings
- If you got this at the launch of the booklet i.e, a year ago, it will definitely last you quite awhile as it's more worth it (doubt you can finish utilising all 160 vouchers in it!)
- Pretty simple & straightforward to use

What I don't:
- Only complaint is that it is definitely more worth it to buy this book if you are based in the Klang Valley since most of the businesses are centred there
