review, and I got it just in time for my birthday and Valentines' Day too!

Basic Care - SEKKISEI White Liquid Wash 20ml
The SEKKISEI White Liquid Wash is a delicate liquid cleanser that cleanses skin without stripping away moisture and provides healthy skin. Taurine-based cleansing agents are used to leave skin feeling clean & hydrated while Rubus Suavissmus Extract gets rid of skin dullness and soothes UV damage. Skin is restored to its optimal condition and moisture is retained.
The product comes in the form of bottle with a pump. There is a safety seal when the product first came to prevent leakage. After dispensing, you get a white, slightly powdery liquid which forms foam when in contact with water. For me, only a little bit is required for the whole face.
To use, dispense 1 - 2 pumps onto the palm and add water to create a gentle foam. However, don't expect a thick rich lather, as the foam formed is more like soft bubbles. Massage the product onto the whole face in circular motion for 1 minute before washing it off thoroughly with clean water. I appreciate that the cleanser is not drying at all for my skin. You are now prepped for the next skincare step!
Basic Care - SEKKISEI Lotion 100ml
This is one of KOSÉ SEKKISEI's best-seller which has been highly-raved about. Much research has been done to develop the SEKKISEI Lotion and to achieve the fine balance between oil & water content for this fine-textured lotion. It contains oriental ingredients that work diligently to keep your skin in perfect condition and protect it from the harsh environment around you.
This fine-textured, hydrating clear lotion promises to give you a "snow-white" effect, balances out skin's moisture levels, prevents dullness, soothes redness and more. I also like that most of SEKKISEI products are not heavily scented yet calming to use at the same time.
For daily use, I use this star product as a toner after my cleanser. Pour the lotion onto a cotton pad and pat gently on your face. It feels super cooling & refreshing and enhances skin translucency & clarity with continued use.
Basic Care - SEKKISEI Emulsion 70ml
This quick absorbing brightening emulsion which also works as a moisturiser, penetrates deep into the skin to prevent freckles, dark spots and dryness. Ingredients like Inula Britanica Flower, Chinese Pearl Barley, Paeonia Albiflora Root, Melothria Heterophylla & Angelica retains moisture for softer, supple skin and more translucent complexion.
Similar to the cleanser, the emulsion comes with a pump and when dispensed, is a white milky liquid as well. Don't be fooled though, it feels so gentle and soft that it gets absorbed readily by the skin.
To use, dispense 1 to 2 pumps on a cotton pad and spread evenly over skin. Don't forget to sweep in an upward and outward motion for all the goodness to be absorbed into your pores.
Special Care - Bihadagoyomi Mask
One of SEKKISEI's best-kept beauty secrets is this bihadagoyomi mask. If I'm not mistaken, there should be 3pcs of mask tablets in your trial kit. KOSÉ's tip is to use this DIY mask for instant hydration to your skin. There are 2 ways to use the SEKKISEI Lotion and one of it is to pair with this mask.
It's also really easy and fun to use! Just pour SEKKISEI Lotion into the cap and drop a bihadagoyomi mask tablet in it to fully soak up the lotion until it puffs up. Then, open up the mask and place it on your face for 5 - 10 minutes for a quick lotion mask therapy that instantly brightens and rejuvenates skin. FYI, using this method actually provides 10x higher moisture and no rinsing is needed after use. The mask sheet is quite thick yet absorbs the essence efficiently to help it penetrate the skin deeply, really love how effective it is!
Special Care - SEKKISEI Clear Whitening Mask 10g
The SEKKISEI Clear Whitening Mask is a gentle peel-off mask that removes blackheads, dullness and dead skin cells, brightens, hydrates and tightens visible pores, all at the same time! Chinese Quince extract in the mask also inhibits sebum production, while a blend of plant extracts deliver whitening benefits.
Was actually kinda shocked to find out that this mask is actually black in colour. The black part is made up of nano-sized particles allows the mask to be spread more easily. It feels kinda sticky and also dries quite quickly when spread out. There is hardly any scent to it.
Spread the mask across your face, while avoiding the eyes, eyebrows, hairline and lips area. This has got to be one of the most interesting masks I've used. I mean, I love peel off masks as they're so fun to use, but this is the first time that I've tried a black peel off mask and it even dries in literally minutes! Peel off the mask from inwards to outwards of your face once its dried. I only applied a thin layer but the instantaneous results is simply amazing, you can see that the pores have clearly shrunk and my skin definitely looks fairer.
In a world where efficiency is demanded, this kit is definitely suitable for first-time users like myself who want to feel and see more beautiful in a short period of time. It's simply therapeutic to be able to enjoy the benefits of this premium skincare range at the end of a long day. I personally feel that this skincare set would suit any skin type and age group. Thinking of getting the other design for my mum too, since it's so affordable (only RM99, including GST!) and worth every penny since some of the products are almost full-sized. My favourite part would be the organic and oriental ingredients which do not harm the skin and is effective enough to see results.

What I don't:
- Would prefer if the cleanser was a bigger size, maybe? :) Besides that, there's honestly nothing else to complain about!
