Eats & Treats: Anchor Food Professionals Launches Icy-cool Beverages to Boost Your Mood

Following the success of previous Anchor campaigns such as Say Cheese, PizzArt and Anchor Travel Cakes, Anchor Food Professionals returns to debut not one, not two, but SIX new dairy beverages to boost your mood with the new Moodmojee campaign. Times like these make me feel lucky that I'm not lactose intolerant cos these sure do look good 😂 These beverages were conceptualised and created by Anchor Food Professionals chefs to showcase the delicious possibilities of dairy in beverages.

As a master of innovation and a global trend-setter, Anchor Food Professionals from New Zealand is cnosistently exciting its customer by sharing new ideas and ways of using their products. This also helps Anchor foodservices partners to enhance their business performance ultimately. Since Anchor has already launched cakes, breads and pizza using their dairy products, it is only fitting that they are launching dairy-based drinks now.

These non-alcoholic beverages are inspired by the recent trend of Asian cheese teas. According to Jack Tan, Associate Foodservice Director, "Dairy is traditionally very popular with Western markets but this time, we wanted to play with local ingredients to give these drinks an overall Asian taste and feel."

The Moodmojee non-alcoholic drinks are designed as mood boosters which will not only delight your taste buds, but improve your overall feeling of happiness as well. The range promises unexpected pairings of sweet, savoury and salty flavours with creamy and smooth textures. Fresh ingredients are used and paired with the goodness of Anchor dairy to fully bring out its natural flavours. These 6 thirst-quenchers include Malaysian favourites that are both whimsical and decadent.

First up is the Kaya-Nika Fusion which is essentially layers of sweet and creamy dairy with traditional kaya, gula melaka, pulut and red bean in a drink.

There's also the Yuzu Chocolate Surprise - tangy Yuzu puree with rich chocolate and rimmed with salt lemon cooling candy for a refreshing and tingling taste.

The Pom & Grey Twist, a flavoured cheese tea is a refreshing concoction of mood-lifting Earl Grey Tea mixed with pomegranate syrup and topped with a generous layer of chocolate cream. 

If you're like me and prefers something with a zing, the Lemon Mint Meringue is the way to go. It is a rich lemon mint vanilla ice blended drink topped with fresh meringue and slices of candied lemon and orange. Doesn't it just look tempting?

Coffee lovers will love Tangy Brew which is a rich cold brew coffee drink mixed with the tangy freshness of orange that explodes in your mouth with a satisfying mixture of cream and cheese foam. 

Last but not least, there's the White Chocoffee which is a milkshake of sorts from, you guessed it, chocolate and white coffee! This sure-winner also contains peanut butter and topped with a magnificent crown of whipped cream. 

Anchor Food Professionals will partner with 15 F&B foodservice partners in both Peninsular and East Malaysia to introduce these creamy creations in phases nationwide, starting from November 2018 to January 2019. These Moodmojee drinks will be available in two outlets in Johor - Living Room in Johor Bahru and Love Tea F&B in Kulai. In Living Room, the Tangy Brew, Pom & Grey Twist and Yuzu Chocolate Surprise will be available for RM 9.90 each. In Love Tea F&B, the White Chocoffee, Lemon Mint Meringue and Kaya-Nika Fusion will be sold at RM 12.90 each.
